John and his team were excellent! They painted offices in our church and were professional and intentional about communication. He followed up to be sure we were pleased and was quick to cover any details that needed attention. They finished ahead of schedule, and both in prep and cleanup was careful about leaving things very clean and neat! This was our second job with them and won't be the last. Reasonably priced, efficient, easy to work with, and professional! These are your guys if you need painters!!
John Harrell help to train me years ago, now I support my family with the trade. Good man and extremely knowledgeable, would recommend to anyone needing a quality painter.

So pleased! John communicated effectively, was timely and did a great job. Had 2 friends from out of town come for a weekend hang out after project was complete. They are in the construction project management industry and they remarked that it was a job well done for wallpaper removal and painting.

I can't say enough great things about Harell's painting! From the appointment for the estimate to the finished job. Walked me through every step of the way, color choices, availability, pricing. They did an amazing job painting my living room and stairway. John and his team were friendly and courteous and always right on time as scheduled ! I would recommend them for any painting needs you have. Five stars and beyond!!

Excellent work from a great crew! Mr. Harrell and team were professional, courteous, efficient and did an amazing job transforming several spaces. I received quotes from 3 painters in Kinston and Mr. Harrell's was the most reasonable for the job being performed. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend.
John and his crew arrived on scheduled time. Care was taken that all furniture and items that they moved were not damaged and were protected from painting. Has a brick wall and paneling painted and both look terrific. Clean up was done very well and everything was placed correctly. The only way it could have been better is if it was free.

I recently purchased a 1916 colonial as a second home in LaGrange. Upon closing I immediately wanted to get rid of the dark blue in the main foyer and 2nd floor common area. My desire was to seek someone for the job in the LaGrange area, therefore John Harrell was my choice. He recommended the color and type of paint that we should use that would open and brighten up the house. I was so impressed with Harrell’s work that I decided to add on proje as they wwas alsimpressed with the way that John kept my husband and I informed along the process. I have other projects already lined up fHarrell’s Painr an nhesitate to recommend this company for any projects involving professional painting to others. He definitely has a load of stars from us. The blue walls are the “before” pictures and I just love t brighter colors!!! I didn’t get pictures of the 2nd floor walls, but trust me, they are equally beautiful as the toned down accent wall and the main foyer

This guy knows about paint, He cares about your home, he believes its an investment and you should protect it. So he doesn't use the cheapest stuff. He's good at painting and that's why you don't need to worry. Just have Harrell's come out and get the job done right the first time.

John and his employee, Ben, did an excellent job painting our shutters, doors, walls and fireplace. They were professional, easy to communicate with and faithful to every detail we requested. They took great care with our furnishings and replaced everything they moved, plus doubled checked to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. John and his crew were great to work with. His guys are professional, show up when they day they will, and do quality work. We were very pleased with everything and have asked for another quote to do more work. Pictures added here are before and after and you can see what a difference the new painting makes in the home. I can’t thank John and his crew enough. We had a pretty big project and the end result is wonderful! The updated paint throughout the house adds the perfect sense of calm and personality. John had to peel off wallpaper that refused to come off. He never gave up. The results were absolutely beautiful.

Very professional. Shows up when he says they will. Happy with the work and there was absolutely no mess left behind. Shrubs were covered and no, I mean no paint chips were left behind. Very pleased!
Harrell’s did a wonderful job painting our kitchen and butler’s pantry. We changed from oil paint to latex paint so there were several steps involved to do that correctly. Everything turned out beautifully. The painters were hard working, neat, on time and friendly. Thank you again for the wonderful job.
